Four Rugby Clubs Set for Enterprise Cup Return
Four Ugandan rugby clubs—Stanbic Black Pirates, Platinum Credit Heathens, KCB KOBs, and Toyota Buffaloes—will compete in the 2026 Enterprise Cup, joining four Kenyan sides in the regional tournament aimed at strengthening East African rugby.

Four Ugandan rugby clubs will take part in the 2026 Enterprise Cup when the regional tournament returns later this month.

Stanbic Black Pirates, Platinum Credit Heathens, KCB KOBs, and Toyota Buffaloes secured their places after finishing among the top four teams in the 2025 Uganda Cup, with Black Pirates claiming the championship, followed by Heathens, KOBs, and Buffaloes.

The tournament will feature eight clubs, four from Uganda and four from Kenya. Kenyan sides include KCB Rugby, Kabras Sugar, Menengai Oilers, and Nondescripts.

Quarter-finals will be played across both countries starting March 21. In Uganda, Black Pirates will host KCB Rugby while Heathens face Kabras Sugar.

Uganda Rugby Union president Godwin Kayangwe said the return of the competition provides clubs with a strong regional platform and will help raise the standard of rugby in both countries.
